I have another, extremely old capture card from Razer and it works on that, so I don't really think it's the PS5 options, but I may be missing something.įrom what I've seen the card works for people out of the box in OBS? Now, I did prepared my PS5 to work with capture cards and turned off HDCP already. In OBS it doesn't work as well and shows black screen (duh), and no signal is put to my screen - I have one screen so my setup is Console -> Card -> USB PC | Card -> HDMI screen. Restarted again, and now I'm back with this. For a quick moment it showed "Device used in another application". As per one old reddit post, turned the PC off, turned PS5 off, checked the cables (never enough of that huh), turned the PS5 on, and then turned the PC on. Reinstalled the whole thing through and through. Checked that the card has what it needs (HDMI in HDMI out USB and power), turned on the device, and got the (as far as I seen quite common) error Device's EDID not valid. The manual said to download 4k Capture Utility so I did. I've bought Elgato 4K60 S+ capture card today and set it up. I've been hitting wall with this one for quite some time now and having no more ideas decided to ask.
